The 2007/08 club season commences with the annual photographic exhibition, which will begin in the Mallow Town Library Co. Cork on Thursday 6th of September. The Exhibition will run for three weeks until Saturday 29th of September. Over 30 photographers from Mallow Camera Club will be exhibiting their many varied styles of photography. Mallow Camera Club members have won many awards over the years both at national and at international level.
This year the club unanimously decided to donate all proceeds of the exhibition to the Niall Mellon Township Trust, as one of our Members Sean Riordan is about to embark on a trip to South Africa with the Trust.
Sean will be part of 1,350 Irish men and women in the biggest ever Township Challenge in Freedom Park, Cape Town, South Africa. This will be the largest ever exodus of Irish people to a charity event overseas and will be the fifth Township Challenge the Niall Mellon Township Trust has organized. The club wishes the best of luck to Sean. For more information on the Niall Mellon Township Trust go to www.irishtownship.com.
The club would like to thank Mallow Town Library for the opportunity to exhibit their work.

I’ll be there around 6pm!
