Mallow Camera Club is looking for images for selection on to our panels for the upcoming SACC Interclub Competition, which will take place on 24th March. The club will be entering three panels again this year, Colour Print, Monochrome Print and Digital Projected Image; each panel consisting of ten images. Each photographer can have up to two images on each panel i.e. a total of six images.
The selection committee are asking all club members, advanced, intermediate and novice to submit images for consideration on Monday night next, 11th March. Images for consideration should preferably be prints, plus corresponding high resolution image files on CD or memory stick (both to be submitted at the same time). The image files must be of high quality and capable of being printed to competition size.
There are prizes for both clubs and individuals in the SACC Interclub Competition so it is worth putting your best images forward for consideration. There is no entry fee for individuals, as only clubs pay an entry fee to the competition.
The more images we have to select from, the more likely we’ll have a quality panel – so please try to submit a few for consideration.
Don’t forget the next club meeting will be in the Mercy Centre on Monday 11th March (see post below).
