Mallow Camera Club was proud to honour Pat Sheehan for his remarkable contribution to the club over the past 39 years.
A founding member since the club’s inception in 1986, Pat has been a constant and vital presence in the club’s growth and success. Known as a true “Camera Club Person,” Pat played a key role not only in establishing the club but also in nurturing its development through the decades. He served as Club Chairperson in the early 2000s and held various committee roles throughout the years.
Pat has devoted much of his time and energy to teaching and mentoring. He leads our annual “Camera Skills Classes for Beginners” course, focusing more on helping others improve their photography than on his own competition work. His dedication to education has been instrumental in the success of these classes, year after year.
Generous with his time and knowledge, Pat has always been eager to share his expertise — from Minolta gear in earlier days to Nikon systems more recently.
In recognition of his outstanding service and unwavering commitment, Mallow Camera Club was delighted to present Pat Sheehan with the Irish Photographic Federation’s Peter Slattery Medal.
Congratulations, Pat — and thank you for everything you’ve done for our club.
