Club member John Hooton rounded off 2013 by winning no less than three awards at the 2013 Tallaght International Salon of Photography.
John won a FIAP (La Fédération Internationale de l’Art Photographique) Gold Medal for his colour image “Blasket Cove”.  John also won the Irish Photographic Federation Gold Medal for the Best Overall Landscape, and a Photographic Society of America (PSA) Ribbon in the colour section for his image “Walkers on Inch Beach”.
Club members Bill Power and Vivien Buckley also had images accepted in the competition.
An exhibition of entries from the 2013 Tallaght International Salon of Photography is currently running in Tallaght Library, The Square, Tallaght, Co. Dublin, and will be there for the next few weeks.
